Emma Weber
Emma is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who specializes in anxiety-related disorders, OCD, perinatal mental health, panic, intrusive thoughts, and emotional overwhelm. She works with individuals who feel stuck in cycles of fear, self-doubt, anxiety, or uncertainty, helping them better understand their experiences while building practical tools for change.
Emma believes that meaningful therapy begins with a safe, supportive, and genuine therapeutic relationship. She understands how overwhelming it can feel when anxiety, intrusive thoughts, or emotional distress begin impacting your daily life, relationships, or sense of self. Her goal is to create a warm and collaborative space where clients feel truly heard, understood, and supported without judgment.
Emma completed specialized training through the Women’s Health Concerns Clinic at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, where she gained experience supporting individuals navigating perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, including postpartum anxiety, OCD, and depression. While she has a strong interest in women’s and perinatal mental health, she also supports clients experiencing anxiety and OCD outside of the perinatal period.
Her approach integrates evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)-informed approaches. Emma works collaboratively with clients to better understand patterns of anxiety, fear, and emotional distress while building greater confidence, flexibility, and self-trust.
